Speak Armenian

To save money, it's a good idea to call a taxi service directly if you have a phone, and request a pickup from the arrivals hall. Finally, downloading Yerevan taxi apps in your smartphone would be the best and cheapest solutions for you.
Right currency

While most supermarkets and restaurants in Yerevan accept credit cards, it's still a good idea to carry some cash with you. In downtown Yerevan, you'll find plenty of 24/7 currency exchange kiosks, making it easy to get Armenian drams within minutes. A quick walk to the nearest supermarket will usually do the trick.
