    Day 1

    «Zvartnots» airport - Yerevan – Lunch - Yerevan City Tour   

    • Arrival. Meet and transfer to the hotel in Yerevan (recommended arrival time to Yerevan – until 14:00). 
    • Lunch in a local restaurant with traditional cuisine.
    • Yerevan City Tour
    • City tour in Yerevan, partly walking tour combined with drive on a comfortable vehicle (main stops – Mother Armenia Monument, Victory Park, Cascade architectural complex, State Opera and Ballet Theatre, pedestrian Northern Avenue, The Republic Square, Tsitsernakaberd).

    Day 2

    Yerevan – Charents Arch – Garni – Stone Symphony – Lunch – Geghard - Yerevan

    • Photo-stop at the Arch of Charents with a breathtaking panoramic view of Ararat mountain.
    • Garni pagan temple, 1st century – it was an Armenian kings summer residency.
    • The Symphony of Stone – natural amazing monument in the form of basalt musical instrument, organ – the miracle of nature. 
    • Lunch in a local restaurant with traditional cuisine.
    • Geghard – the monastic complex partly carved in the rocks (9th century). One of the main halls of the complex has a unique acoustics, as well as there is a sacred source of water inside.
    • Drive back to Yerevan.

    Day 3

    Yerevan – Harichavank - Dashtadem - Lunch – Gyumri, city tour 

    • Harichavank is an Armenian monastery founded in the 7th century. It was considered as one of the most famous monastic centers in Armenia. It was especially known for its school and scriptorium.
    • Visiting Dashtadem fortress – 9th century. 
    • Lunch in a local restaurant with traditional cuisine.
    • Visiting the second biggest city of Armenia – Gyumri (former Leninakan). Gyumri is also a very authentic cultural capital of Armenia. Short city tour in Gyumri.  
    • Drive back to Yerevan. 

    Day 4

    Yerevan– Khor Virap - Noravank – Lunch – Bird's cave - «Old Bridge» winery - Yerevan 

    • Khor Virap monastery (7th century) with panoramic view of Ararat mountain.  
    • Noravank monastery (13th century) surrounded by red rocks with an amazing road through the picturesque canyon of the Gnishik River leading to the monastery.  
    • Lunch in a local restaurant with traditional cuisine.
    • Bird’s Cave (Areni-1), where the oldest leather shoe (5500 years old) in the world and the oldest winery (6100 years old) in the world were founded. The Archaeological excavations are underway here till present.
    • A visit to the authentic family winery "Old Bridge" - one of the best in Armenia – Lunch and Wine tasting. During the tasting the following wines are served: 1 white, 1 rose, 2 red aged wines and at the end - grappa aged for 4 years. 3 types of cheese, 3 types of olives prepared by the owners of the winery, sun-dried tomatoes in oil, water, mineral water are also served as snacks.
    • Drive back to Yerevan.

    Day 5

    Sevan– Hayrivank – Noratus – Lunch – Mikayelyan Family Farm – Yerevan  

    • High-altitude lake Sevan – it is located at an altitude of 2000 m above the sea level.
    • Hayravank monastery is located on the small hill – the lake view is breathtaking from here.   
    • Noratus – here is the largest number of Khachkars (Cross-Stones) on the territory of modern Armenia.  Each Khachkar is very unique – the patterns on the Khachkars are not repeated.  
    • Lunch in a local restaurant with traditional cuisine.
    • Mikayelyan Family farm – family-based cheese production. Here one may participate in the excursion in the small farm as well as in the cheese tasting of 5 types of the cheese – “wine” cheese and “cognac” cheese are also included in the tasting package.
    • Back to Yerevan.

    Day 6

    Yerevan – Saghmosavank – Armenian Alphabet Monument - Lunch – Amberd*/Hovhannavank – Yerevan

    • Saghmosavank monastery (13th century) is located on the edge of Kasakh river gorge with a breathtaking panoramic view of Ararat mountain.
    • Armenian Alphabet Monument – here one may see the monuments of great Armenian cultural personalities and, of course, the founder of the Armenian alphabet, Mesrop Mashtots.
    • Lunch in a local restaurant with traditional cuisine. 
    • Fortress in the clouds – Amberd*– was founded in the 10th century. It is located at an altitude of 2300 m above the sea level. 
    • Back to Yerevan. 

    *Depending on weather conditions, visiting Amberd is possible from May to October. In case of unfavorable weather conditions, visiting the Amberd fortress will be replaced by visiting the Hovhannavank monastery.

    Day 7

    Yerevan – Market – Vernissage – Lunch - St Hripsime - Echmiadzin with the Museum – Zvartnots – «Zvartnots» airport

    • Food Market – here one may taste a lot of tasty local food and products: Armenian cheese, basturma, lavash, greens, fruits, dried fruits, spices and many more..
    • Vernissage – is an open-air museum in Yerevan city center. Here one may find handicrafts of Armenian masters: paintings, clay, wood, semi-precious stone, silver products. Here you can buy various interesting souvenirs as a gift to remember your trip to Armenia.
    • Lunch in a local restaurant with traditional cuisine.
    • Visiting St Hripsime church (7th century). The church has been included in the UNESCO cultural heritage list since 2000.
    • Explore the Main Cathedral of Echmiadzin – which was founded in 301. The Cathedral was made of wood initially. The Cathedral has been included in the UNESCO cultural heritage list since 2000.
    • We will visit The Museum “Treasures of Echmiadzin” which is located on the Cathedral territory – The Holy Relics are kept here, and the main relic is the Holy Geghard, the tip of the spear that pierced the side of Christ.
    • Explore the ruins of Zvartnots temple – it was founded in the 7th century. The ruins of the temple along with the archaeological territory across the temple have been included in the UNESCO cultural heritage list since 2000.
    • Transfer to «Zvartnots» airport, departure (recommended departure time from Yerevan – not earlier than 20:00).
